Xclusive Magazine is Ireland’s African only lifestyle monthly magazine, with biased for - but not necessarily - only stories that centre on African people in Ireland in particular, and in Africa and the Diaspora in general. We publish stories on culture, entertainment, fashion, sports and general lifestyle...backed with xclusive photos. Celebrity interviews are just irresistible, such that, Nollywood film stars, musicians, footballers and top African personalities are usually our covers.

Xclusive Magazine accepts editorial contributions from freelance writers and photographers from anywhere in the world. We accept submissions by email only, as an attachment (Microsoft word only). Please we do not accept contributions by post. Photographic material must be high pixels with 300dpi, and should be sent as jpeg attachment and not included in the body of Microsoft word attachment. All photographic material must contain the names of those in the photograph, or at least a general caption of what they are doing in the photograph. Please provide the name of the photographer, if different from the author of the accompanying story. Submit stories and photos to: editorial@xclusive.ie

Fiction

Xclusive magazine accepts submissions for previously unpublished short story. We do not accept poetry submissions. Short story must be (strictly) 1,500 – 1,800 words and original. All submissions must be in English and previously unpublished. (We are strongly biased towards the standard form of British spellings.) Xclusive magazine is open to all styles and themes, but a well-crafted story that centres on African experiences will be irresistible.

Talking Point:

If you cannot contribute stories you may want to contribute your opinion. Each month, on “Talking Point” section we sample opinions on a chosen topic on lifestyle and culture. Our issue 18, for instance, it was, “Married vs Single: who is Living A Better Life?” We then publish the people's opinions with their photos. Who are these people and where do we meet them? They are everyday people. We sometimes run into them on the street, in the church, at the shopping mall, anywhere. You see, they are not particularly our associates or people we pally with. We may run into you someday. But there is a probability that we may never run into you. And you probably have been itching to give your views. The chance is here.
