Publisher's Intro'
"You can be anything you want to be, if you are willing to dream big and work hard."
-Robert Schuller Tough Times Never Last But Tough People Do..
26 March 2006 was Mothers' Day. Every Mothers’ Day is a day for

celebrating motherhood and thanking
mothers for the important role they play in our lives. In Xclusive magazine, we thought that the
best way to celebrate our African women was to ask the African men themselves. “My African Queen”
(apologies to 2Face Idibia) is a tribute to African mothers, wives and daughters wherever they may be.
Ireland set a landmark in the Nollywood industry recently.
For the first time in the whole world,
Nollywood films were premiered in a big cinema here in Dublin. It was a three-day of glitz,
glamour and razzmatazz. Actors, actresses, producers and directors from Nollywood film industry
were flown over here from Nigeria to participate in this unprecedented event. “Inside Nollywood
& African Film Festival” gives both the on and off the scenes gist of the premiere, the after
party and the closing events. We have spiced them with exclusive interviews with the stars:
Stella Damasus-Aboderin, Sammie Okposo, Kingsley Ogoro and Azuka Odunukwe. Sorry, we have to
reserve Ramsey Noah's interview for our next edition. We want to keep you salivating.
You will also find in this edition our sixty minutes encounter
with K1 De Ultimate, one of
the finest musicians out of Africa. Yes, he was in Dublin a few weeks ago. It was supposed
to be a top-secret visit, but there was no hiding place for such a gold fish. Like they say,
we fished him out. “De Ultimate Endorsement” is written by me in lyrical prose.
What more can I say? There are our regulars on food, sports,
health, music and educative articles, written by professionals. I am very confident you will
find them very interesting. It is our pledge to continue to give you the finest stories, written
with creativity and imagination.
Never. Never would I sign off without paying my full respect to
these fine gentlemen behind Afri-Cargo and Larmints Paylink/AudioBooks. Their support (through
adverts and words of encouragements) is what has kept the dream of this magazine alive.
Sirs, my profound and very emotional respect!
Publisher/Editor-in-Chief.
